Abstract Health care library professionals increasingly rely on modern information systems to assist health care professionals in providing quality care. This is an age of information and in this it formation-based society, people are more conscious about their health that resultant to increase in demand of health care information. Medical and health science associations are playing key role in organizing conferences and lectures and providing latest information sources in the field of health science. In this article an attempt has been made to do the analysis of proceedings of Medical Library Association c f India for the purpose to know the role of medical library professionals in the field of organizing and disseminating of health care information.
