Abstract

The present study elucidates the ‘WE - A Multidisciplinary and Multilingual Peer-Reviewed Research Journal’ is in fact the abbreviated form of World Wide Web that has evolved a research output between the years 2020 to 2024. All articles published since 2020 were analysed for research analysis. The outcome of the research therefore unravels that 108 publications contributed in the form of research articles, book reviews, case studies, and review papers during the five years under review. The criteria taken into consideration encompasses Authorship Pattern, Chronological Distribution, Average Number of citations, Language-wise Distribution, Institutional Contribution, Geographical Distribution, and Subject Mapping for the study. The results from the analysis indicated that 70.40% articles were written by a single author and the year 2024 witnessed the highest number of (25.93%) articles. Further, Delhi contributed the vast majority of (66.03%) contributions and the Department of Library and Information Science made the most significant contributions with 58 articles.
