Abstract

The utilization of the Electronic Information Resources (EIR) in the field of veterinary librarians has transformed the environment of transfer of knowledge. This research investigates the trends, problems, and the user preferences that are closely associated with the use of EIR in veterinary libraries. The questionnaire would be designed to collate detailed information from users of veterinary libraries., The use of Likert scale questions is relatively necessary to improve quantitative data processing. A graded random sample approach would be used to assure representation from all groups of library users, such as, researchers, professors, students, and professionals. The accumulated data will then be imported into the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, or SPSS, a program for analysis. The descriptive statistics will be utilized to summarize the demographic traits and various other imperative elements. The Chi-Square test will be performed to explore at links between category factors, like user preferences and the problems encountered. The Correlation Analysis would be used to gauge the correlations between incessant variables, such as, the impact of the EIR adoption on research productivity. A Regression Analysis will be used to establish the elements that have an effect over the user preferences and information-seeking behaviors. Finally, the findings of this study will assist in improving the veterinary information distribution and stimulate a smooth changeover into the digital era for both veterinary practitioners and scholars.
