Abstract

Provision for adequate space for various kinds of library collections, Users, Staff and different services is vital for a successful and functional library building. The factors that affect the allocation of space for various library operations have been discussed in detail. The authors opine that the need of the future will not be more space, but greater opportunity for flexibility in the use of that space.
