Abstract

This study takes up a detailed assessment of the research productivity of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) during period 1986-2023. The evaluation is conducted through the utilization of bibliometric analysis on the papers published in the SCOPUS database. An analysis of 818 publications from SSSIHL was conducted in order to offer a deep insight into the varying facets of research performance. The discoveries unravel the fact that journal articles dominate in the publication output, with a highly significant degree of collaboration amongst other authors. The study also analyses highly cited documents and creative authors, shedding a light on the most powerful research contributions from SSSIHL. In addition, a study of the growth in publications, authorship shape and preferred publishers provides treasured perceptions for enhancing research output and increasing the visibility of the institute. The study concludes by suggesting a few initiatives for improving the quality and quantity of research publications at SSSIHL.
