Abstract

This study examines briefly the research supervision and 15 most cited publications of Professor KP Singh, focusing on M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees supervised and awarded. The analysis reveals that journal articles constitute the dominant form of his research output, with a total of 193 publications spanning research articles, books, edited volumes, book chapters and conference papers. Over a 14-year period from 2009-2023, Professor Singh supervised 25 M.Phil. scholars and 16 Ph.D. scholars, reflecting sustained academic mentorship. A study of social networking sites in universities of North India identifies his most highly cited work- published in The Electronic Library in 2015, receiving 99 citations. Collaborative authorship analysis indicates that his most prominent research collaboration is with Bebi, resulting in four joint publications.
