This study focuses on how the academics evaluate the web sources and what are the opinions of the academics regarding the authority, coverage, currency, permanence, usefulness of web sources. The results of the present study clearly show that the majority of respondents rated the web reference sources as ‘good’ against the selected evaluation criteria and the respondents are satisfied with the current status of web reference sources.
