Managing CD-ROM Services in Two Nigerian Universities Libraries

Abstract
A Survey was carried out to ascertain the usage and status of CD-ROM products in two academic libraries in Nigeria. Analyses the data about the year subscription started, the number of products held by libraries, the number and location of CD-ROM workstations, search intermediaries, training, the impact of CD-ROM on library services, the provision of access to citations from searches and funding the products. Enumerates the suggestions regarding ways of funding CD-ROM products as suggested by the respondents.
