Abstract

Branch Libraries play an important role in supporting the research and teaching needs of the campuses. The librarians working in these institutions have great deal of responsibilities and they are confronted with different sets of problems. The collection is small, staffing is less, and resources are fewer. The Librarians often feel forgotten about from the parent institution. On the other hand librarians job is multitasking and can gain a great deal of experience in many a library works.
