Abstract

The current study is centered on the bibliometric insights from the publications of the “Library Herald” journal during the last three years. The study has taken into consideration the years from 2022 2024 and examined the publications for the period to identify and analyze the publication patterns including document types, year-wise publication, most prolific authors, and the highly viewed documents. The observations unraveled a steady publication rate for the years under consideration. R.K. Bhatt from the University of Delhi was the top contributing author, followed by B.M. Gupta from CSIR-NISTADS, New Delhi. In terms of the average views per publication, Akhandanand Shukla surpassed other authors, receiving 225.3 average views per paper. The institutions located in New Delhi emerged as the most contributing institutions thereby rendering Northern India as a major stakeholder in the journal’s publication output.
