Abstract

The Paper aims to investigate Information Seeking Behaviour of Social Scientists working in the Universities located in Haryana. The data of survey was collected through a structured questionnaire. The results show that qualification, Teaching experience and status do not have any effect on the visits to the library by the Social Scientists. Periodicals are the most used and most important source of information. Browsing is the first preferred method of searching the required information.
