Abstract
The main goal of this study is to understand the information needs and searching habits of science students at Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya in Sonipat, Haryana. We collected data from 123 science students, which is 76.87% of the total. Among them, 64 students, or 52.03%, were firstyear students. Information requirements are especially important for exam preparation. Additionally, 101 students, or 64.74%, find e-resources very helpful. A lack of knowledge in information and communication technology is a barrier to meeting their information needs.
